Age Limit Criteria
There is no upper or minimum age limit criterion to take the JEE Main exam. Candidates who have finished and passed class 10+2/ equivalent examination in the year 2025 and 2026 or are appearing for the examination in 2027 are eligible to appear for JEE Main 2027. - Candidates who have passed the class 10+2/ equivalent examination in 2024 or before that are not eligible to give the JEE Main 2027.
Nationality Criteria
Nationality criteria for candidates who want to apply for JEE Main 2027 are:

- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.

- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination is applicable.

JEE Main 2027 Exam Day Guidelines
Every year, specific guidelines are given for the exam day when the admit card is released. Here are the guidelines candidates appearing for JEE Main 2027 must strictly follow. Failure to follow the guidelines will result in the disqualification of the candidate’s application and test score.
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of the JEE Main 2027 admit card with the self-declaration form.
- A valid photo ID, which was selected during the form completion, must be carried. (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card).
