Every decision you make in 12th grade affects your future, including the exams you choose. In this section, youll see a list of exams you should consider alongside your board exams. There's always room for improvement, so this section also has a carefully chosen list of exams suggested for students repeating the year. These exams can help you get into good colleges and boost your career.
These exams aren’t mere entrance exams but they are the gateway to the most prestigious engineering colleges in India. For instance, JEE Advanced is must for enrolling into the IITs (refer sec.1), whereas JEE Main is a necessity for doing your graduation from the top NITs (refer sec. 2). In addition to these two exams, if one wishes to get enrolled in the top private college, i.e., Birla Institute of Technology and Science (refer sec. 6.1), then BITSAT exam is a compulsory.
IITs, NITs, and BITS are well-known for their faculty and the quality education. Admission to these institutes ensures you with exposure, excellent education, experienced faculty, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and exceptional facilities. These institutes have a strong track record of producing successful engineers and technologists who contribute in the fields of research, innovation, and development.
It is important to note that while numerous colleges admit students based on their JEE Main and Advanced scores and ranks, applicants are also required to fill out the admission forms of the respective colleges. Failure to fill out these specific forms may result in an inability to secure admission to those institutions. For instance, even if you boast a commendable rank in JEE Main, neglecting to submit the separate admission form for DCE (Delhi College of Engineering) will render you ineligible for admission. Therefore, it is of utmost importance for students to diligently complete all relevant forms within the stipulated time frame, ensuring they do not miss out on opportunities to secure admission to esteemed engineering universities and colleges.
