Matrix NEET Division Practical Tips for Participating in NEET Counselling Process
Matrix NEET Division believes that NEET counselling is not only about qualifying NEET, but also related to the choice-filling strategy. This significantly influences the overall chance of final seat allotment. Matrix NEET Division recommends the following practical approach to participate in the NEET Counselling process.
- Prepare a college list by dividing colleges into dream, realistic, and backup options according to your NEET 2026 score and AIR.
- Candidates must submit the maximum number of choices for college options to increase overall chances for medical seat allocation.
- Always consider low-category government and private medical colleges as a backup option.
- Candidates should create the list of preferred colleges as per preference rather than randomly following previous-year cutoff ranks of government medical colleges.
- Candidates with lower cutoff marks can consider mid-tier colleges with advanced clinical exposure, infrastructure, location, and other facilities.
- Matrix NEET Division advises students to check the latest vacant-seat matrix before submitting fresh choices for seat allotment.
- Students’ documents must be updated as per the latest information because a missing domicile, category, or NRI document can create problems during verification.
