Talking about Hemlata’s family background, she belongs to a middle-class family from a small village in Rajasthan. Hemlata further says that this journey of being a NEET topper from Matrix was not easy at all. She failed twice in NEET before these outstanding results. In her 12th class, she prepared for NEET but could not clear it. With her family’s support, she took a drop for a year. She prepared again, but unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and lockdown conditions, her preparation was affected, and again, the result was not as per the expectations.

A student who has been preparing and trying to crack the NEET examination for so long and kept on failing might lose motivation and leave the preparation in the middle, but she was not ready to let it go. She says, “I completely went into depression because of repetitive failure, and every time I used to think that I can’t crack NEET. Meanwhile, the taunts of my neighbours and relatives demotivated me a lot. I took a long break from studies and then took admission to Matrix, started preparation again, and cracked NEET.”

“Difficulties will come your way; many of your close people will taunt you negatively if you fail once or twice, but don’t give up. Just prepare with your 100% efficiency and have faith in what your teachers teach”. Hemlata believes that all the NEET aspirants should clear their doubts on the same day to boost their overall efficiency. Who knows, a question can come from the particular topic in which you are having a doubt”, she further adds.
