Mayank Soni : AIR 26 In JEE Advanced From Matrix<\/span> <\/h1> <\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/section>\r\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cA person’s worldly success will be in the measure that he sacrifices\u201d, Mayank Soni from\u00a0<\/span>Jhunjhnu, Rajasthan, justified it by scoring AIR 26 (OBC Category rank 2) in JEE Advanced 2023 and became a 1st Sikar topper in JEE.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

He comes from a middle-class family where his father is a government employee and his mother serves as a housewife. Whatever result he has brought, he has dedicated it to his parents and teachers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

In JEE Advanced 2023, Mayank glorified the name of Sikar by scoring 100 percentile. In JEE Main 2023 also, he gave an outstanding performance and secured AIR 34. He is also the first Sikar topper in JEE Advanced this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

His whole family and village are celebrating this moment and everyone is proud of Mayank as he set an inspiration for other JEE aspirants from Sikar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Mayank and His Family\u2019s First Reaction to His Result<\/b><\/h2>

Being shy from nature, he is truly a hard and smart worker. Upon asking Mayank about his and his family\u2019s first reaction to his result, he said,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u201cIt was like a dream come true moment for me. Although I had this belief that I might get a rank under 100 but never expected under 30 all India rank. His parents got really happy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

Matrix JEE topper Mayank further said that just after the result announcement, teachers from Matrix congratulated him on the phone on his grand success. Mayank gave the credit for success to his parents’ support and the guidance of teachers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

During our talk with Mayank and his parents, he said that his parents didn\u2019t let him lose his courage in his difficult time. He further added that, during these two years of preparation, he never attended any outdoor functions or relatives gathering.<\/span><\/p>

Talking about the role of teachers and Matrix, Mayank said that it was no way possible to achieve this rank without Matrix. He shared that teachers at Matrix are very helpful and they cleared his doubts in the easiest way possible. Many times he felt demotivated by ups and downs in performance, but counselling sessions at Matrix motivated him to give his best.<\/span><\/p>

Study Plan and Strategy Followed to Crack JEE<\/b><\/h2>

Mayank joined Matrix in class 10th and studied here for 3 years. He scored 94% in 10th and 96% in 12th. On being asked about his study plan and the preparation strategy, Mayank said,<\/span><\/p>

\u201dMy study plan was very simple, as suggested by the teachers. I used to give 7-8 hours daily for self-study apart from classes. After classes, I used to revise my notes first, then complete homework. Daily, I used to practice questions from previous chapters, especially those where I had some doubts.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

How Matrix Helped Mayank to Achieve AIR 26<\/b><\/h2>

\"Mayan<\/span><\/p>

The syllabus of JEE is vast and deep. Therefore, any student who starts preparing with a positive note might lose motivation in between. But for him, three years was a sufficient time, and covering each topic with a moderate speed has strengthened his understanding and question-solving approach.<\/span><\/p>

He added that teachers from Matrix used to clear all the doubts in the class itself and mentioned almost all the confusing points in the class notes. He said that the test series at Matrix is the best and it helped him to find out his strengths and weaknesses.<\/span><\/p>

Mayank said that Matrix provided him with the best environment for study. Maan Sir guided him for a last-minute revision strategy, and the same strategy helped him to revise everything a week before JEE Advanced.<\/span><\/p>

Skipped Singapore Trip For His Preparation<\/b><\/h3>

While talking to Mayank\u2019s parents, they said that once Matrix planned a trip to Singapore for the Olympiad topper students, Mayank was among those students. But, when he got to know that it would take 7-10 days, he skipped it even though it was his hearted desire to go on a foreign trip. He skipped it just for the sake of his JEE preparation. Now we all can see the result of his sacrifices.<\/span><\/p>

Future Plans of Matrix JEE Topper<\/b><\/h2>

Talking about Mayank\u2019s future plans, he said that he is now aiming for the computer science branch at IIT Bombay. Since he was focused on JEE preparation till now, he didn\u2019t have much idea of his plans. But, he said that the exposure that he will get at IIT will help him to figure out what exactly he should do further.<\/span><\/p>

Final Thoughts<\/b><\/h2>

Mayank set an inspiration for all those students who dream of cracking JEE. We are proud of him and we\u2019re glad to be a part of his success.<\/span><\/p>
