The exam happened between 3 PM and 6 PM. The JEE Main exam is conducted by NTA every year. Once the exam is over, all students are curious to get an accurate paper analysis along with the question paper PDF. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This blog will provide a detailed paper analysis of the Jan 24 Shift 2 exam. We will cover overall difficulty and subject-wise analysis of maths, physics and chemistry. All the analysis is done based on student feedback and expert evaluation based on memory-based questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">JEE Main 2026 Session 1 &amp; 2 All Shift Analysis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exams are scheduled from 2nd April, 2026 to 8th April, 2026. The overall difficulty level of the paper was balanced but time-consuming. Toppers average attempts were noted to be 55-65 questions.\u200b The physics section was moderate level with formula-driven numericals. Whereas the chemistry section was moderate-to-difficult and time-consuming, the mathematics section was the lengthiest and toughest. Chemistry was analysed to be moderate to tough, along with tricky questions which are multi-concept questions. Next, many students found mathematics to be tough as well and of a moderate level. Chemistry was the most doable section in this shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">JEE Main 2026, 24 Jan Shift 2 Mathematics Paper Analysis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mathematics section of JEE Main 2026 Jan 24 Shift 2 was concluded to be moderate and lengthy. Almost 11 questions from class 11 topics and 14 questions from class 12 topics. When compared to Shift 1 of the same day, the chemistry section of this shift was easier. Physical Chemistry carried the highest weightage in this shift with 10 questions. 8 questions were from organic chemistry, and 6 from inorganic chemistry.
